EunJeong Cheon is an Assistant Professor in the School of Information Studies at Syracuse University. Her research examines the politics embedded in the design of emerging technologies, including collaborative robots, labor-tracking AI systems, and advanced motion-capture technologies. She focuses on the power dynamics and social implications of integrating robots and AI into society. In design research, she has contributed to developing concepts and methodologies that equip scholars with tools to critically interrogate established norms and envision alternative futures.
