Heekyoung Jung is an Associate Professor at the School of Design at the University of Cincinnati. With expertise in HCI and studio-based design practices, she explores emerging interaction technologies as both material and subject for user interaction and interface design within product systems. Her research is focused on cultivating aesthetic awareness through creative and reflective practices in design research and education by investigating and reimagining the complex relationship between humans and technology, including AI.
