Hyungjun Cho is an incoming Assistant Professor in the School of Art + Art History at the University of Florida. He is a design-driven HCI researcher and recently completed his Ph.D. at KAIST. His work focuses on speculative design that provokes critical discourse on the experiential, social, and cultural impacts of emerging technologies, including AI. In particular, his dissertation explores human-thing relationships mediated by LLMs, reflecting his five-year journey as a design researcher directly experiencing the rapidly evolving nature of AI.
